I like the way you think, friend (no, we haven't met, tho). Simple but not simplistic. Challenging but not impossible. World- changing but life-changing first. Well worth reading and more valuable as incarnational realities. Who would the church be if we lived like this, and how would the world's opinion of Jesus change if we started living these values of His into the culture we live in? Yes, I want to be a rebel. I'd like to think I am one, but with respect to your fifth value, I'm gonna take a fresh look and make a fresh start. I don't take that lightly. We are the Church, and we can, we gotta rise to our calling! How freeing!

I like Jonathans comment. Hes right! Jesus was a rebel on Earth!
About two thousand years ago a rebel left home to save billions. Now that same rebel is back home preparing a place for His own. In the old days, Christians were few and far between so God would often send them great distances to speak His Words and do His Works.
God can use us whereever we are; the question is, do we understand when we are being called? If someone calls us out in Jesus then we should pray over their words because God still perfers the human approach since that is one way He is glorified through our weaknesses. Sometimes God likes to test our loyalty to Him. Abraham was willling to kill his son. Moses was willing to speak what God told him to say inspite of his stuttering and I gave up all junk foods of every imaginable kind and ate only raw fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds for over a year. (helps if you know all that I used to eat was junk food, exclusively, and I mean that)I am not a great prophet; I am just a common person. But grace and blessings are for all who follow Jesus and do as God commands. As that wise king once said; there is nothing new under the sun! God sending us to do His Work is like mom letting her little kids help her bake cookies..we all know a great reward is coming when the work is finished!
Obedience to God brings rewards and sometimes, great and unimaginable changes.
When God speaks to you concerning 'matters', Pastor Matt; I believe you will be rebel enough.

Jesus was definitely a rebel when He was on Earth. As Christians, we're definitely called to be different! Agree.
