Max Lucado

I got a new book this week from Thomas Nelson. It’s by Max Lucado, entitled, For The Tough Times: Reaching Toward Heaven for Hope. It’s a short book with only like 96 pages, so I am pretty excited about reading it (hopefully in one day over Christmas break). Not only am I loving that the book isn’t long, but I’m a fan of Max Lucado.
My favorite of his books is He Chose The Nails. What’s your favorite book of his? Or better yet, do you even like his books?

I’ll have to be honest and admit that I’ve never actually read a book of his. I’m a huge fan of John Maxwell’s and Jentzen Franklin’s books. This book looks like one I’d definitely love to read though. Think I’ll pick it up. Thanks.
My wife likes to get me “stocking stuffers”, so I asked for this book for Christmas. I’m sure it will be great.
I like the book He Chose the Nails, but my favorite Lucado book is On the Anvil. On the Anvil describes so many times in my life and the life of Grace Crossing, where I serve as a shepherd.
I enjoy exchanging “tweets” with you Matthew and pray for your work and your church!
Sometime when I’m in the Nashville area, I would love to attend Valley View to hear you speak.
I just finished reading this book, also. I too have been a fan of Max Lucado for some time. I particularly liked, Traveling Light. I am just the type of woman that tends to carry too many things, in the literal sense of packing luggage for a trip, or dealing with my personal life, things as perfectionism, guilt, and all sort of other things. The chapter, The Crowing Rooster and Me, was my favorite, in that Lucado reminded me of God’s wonderful grace toward me and how after I make mistakes, God invites me back to the table again.
